December Surf

Got to escape the drab central Oregon winter for a little bit this weekend by jetting over to the coast for a two day surf trip.  It was a great time, descent waves, good company, and incredible weather!  Sunny and 50 degrees on Saturday!  I know that might not sound all that warm to a lot of you out there, but hey, it's the middle of December people!  And this is Oregon!  We will take it.

Torry Piatt watches a beautiful barrel.

Bobby.

Don't know who this girl is, but glad she was standing out there!

I really just hang out with Bobby to be with Penny.  Ok that's only partly true ;)

Wave conditions on this trip ranged from really good to pretty lame.  In typical Oregon coast fashion it was a very unpredictable.  There would be short periods of beautiful barrels going off, then just like that it would turn off and be hours of choppy seas.  I'm not complaining though, any day in the water is a good day.

Little different edit of the girl on cliff photo.

I absolutely love surfing, and wish I was able to get to the ocean way more often.  Hopefully 2015 will offer more opportunities for it...
